Don’t Miss Updates from Destination Thrift!

We’re worried that you might not be getting all of the great thrifty content we’ve been working so hard to bring to you.  Some changes in Facebook-land are cramping our style, but we have other ways to connect with you.

Bonus Content

We frequently post “bonus” content on our social networks – we like to share fun little tidbits that aren’t really worthy of a whole post by themselves.  We don’t overpost, but we do like to share interesting articles from around the web or bonus pictures of thrifty goodness.  We also try to keep our fans up-to-date on our latest articles on this site.

Historically we’ve really liked the Facebook interface for interacting with fans, but rumor has it that Facebook is making pages pay to promote their posts if they want more than 12% of their fans to see them. If you’ve “liked” Destination Thrift on Facebook, you might not be receiving all of our juicy between-blog updates.

  1. If you’re already a Facebook fan, go to the Destination Thrift Facebook page. Click the Gear icon in the top right-hand of the page. From the drop-down, select “Add to Interests Lists.” This might help you see more of our Facebook posts, but it’s no guarantee.
  2. Follow us on Twitter @destinthrift.  We syndicate most of content on Twitter, but usually in a condensed 140-character form.  We’re also trying to get into Google+, but we still have some learning to do.

Don’t Miss A Post!

A lot of our fans use Facebook to let them know when we’ve got a new post.  However, our posts might not always appear in your newsfeed and you might miss our latest posts.  To make sure you don’t miss any of our articles, try one of the options below:

  1. Go to and locate the Follow Posts by Email button in the right hand sidebar.
  2. Add our RSS feed to your favorite reader:
